World's Sexiest City?

It's the time of the year again.

The wedding season.

You know when you're about to leave a wedding, you shake hands with the newly married couple (and their parents), wishing them "Selamat Pengantin Baru, Semoga Berbahagia Hingga ke Anak Cucu or simply just, "Congratulations on your beautiful wedding" with a pat on the back. Being the busy body that I am, wahahahahaha I usually ask them another question, "So honeymoon kat maner? Nyum Nyum..". Minus the "nyum nyum" sometimes. Menyibuk jer aku kan?

Frequent answers I received:

i) Within Malaysia: Langkawi Island, Pangkor Island, Redang Island, Tioman Island, Perhentian Island, Cherating, Cameron Highlands
These are the most preferred honeymoon spots for Malaysians, at least the ones that I'm aware of. I don't know about you guys. Perhaps my family, friends and neighbours chose these destinations because of financial limitations, since they've spent quite a significant amount of money for the wedding itself. And of course, there's nothing wrong with that. The whole point is to spend quality time with your loved one, no matter where you are. To a couple that I know, a decent hotel room anywhere with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door is good enough.

ii) Overseas: Bali, Paris, Bangkok, Maldives, Mauritius, New York City, Hawaii, London
A few friends and acquaintances of mine can afford luxurious honeymoon trips outside of the country. Some trips could cost MORE than an average Malay wedding, not to mention the small weddings in villages. But who cares right if they can afford it right? After all, it's a special day for them to remember. A sacred and special moment in your life that you wanna cherish the memories forever.

The other day I was reading an old magazine (no, it's not Playboy magazine, thank you very much) and came across a Durex Global Sex Survey for 2001 (not the latest one though). According to the Americans, the world's sexiest cities are:
1) Paris (38%)
2) Venice (17%)
3) New York City (12%)

Paris, better known as The City of Love is unmistakably the obvious favorite for the Americans with a staggering 40% of the total votes. Do you agree? I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit New York City for 3 times, but not in a honeymoon trip of course. Heh heh.

For the sake of discussion, financial constraints aside, what is YOUR ideal honeymoon spot? Your sexiest city in the world? Mine would be Paris.

Paris? Venice? New York City? Amsterdam? London? New Zealand? Hawaii? Bali? Tupah?

I'm curious to know. As always.
